Abstract: With the in-depth implementation of the national innovation-driven development strategy, universities, as important bases for talent cultivation, shoulder the significant mission of promoting the improvement of college students'innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities. This article conducts a systematic study on the cultivation system of college students'innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and deeply analyzes the significant meaning of constructing this system in three dimensions: implementation of national strategy, educational reform, and student development. This article systematically sorts out the core contents and key tasks of each stage of the entire life cycle of college students'innovation and entrepreneurship projects, from screening, preparation, start-up, exploration to stable development. It focuses on some deep-seated structural problems existing in the project cultivation process of current universities and conducts a profound analysis of their causes. It has been specifically proposed to build a scientific, collaborative and sustainable system for cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
