Abstract: In the new era, college student innovation and entrepreneurship subject competitions, as an important carrier of “double innovation”education in universities, have unique value and practical significance in cultivating and enhancing students' practical abilities, innovative thinking, and collaborative spirit. Starting from the theoretical logic of empowering innovation and entrepreneurship talent cultivation in universities through disciplinary competitions, this article analyzes the current status and challenges of talent cultivation models in universities. By constructing an innovative cultivation model of“trinity and four-wheel drive linkage”, it explores its specific implementation path and regional differentiation strategy, providing theoretical basis for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in universities.
