Abstract: This study addresses the imbalanced development in the integration of “post-course-competition-certificate” in talent cultivation for early childhood education majors in higher vocational institutions. It specifically analyzes issues such as the disconnection between students' practical abilities and job requirements, the fragmentation between curriculum instruction and practical training, participation barriers and value alienation in skill competitions, and the ineffectiveness of the certification system. By systematically constructing a closed-loop training model centered on job competencies, the study restructures a modular curriculum and an in-depth practical teaching system. It promotes the transformation of the competition framework from being elite-oriented to being inclusive and deeply integrates it with the curriculum, while establishing a competency-oriented mechanism for aligning courses and certificates.
