Abstract: Against the backdrop of global economic integration and the deepening implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, the teaching of minority languages urgently needs to transform towards cultivating versatile and applied talents. Guided by the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) concept, this study examines the integrated education model of“minor language + innovation and entrepreneurship”through the case of the Spanish major reform at Zhongyuan Institute of Science and Technology. Leveraging Henan's distinctive economic characteristics and Xuchang's strengths in cross-border e-commerce product categories, the program aims to cultivate bilingual and interdisciplinary talents who are“proficient in Spanish, fluent in English, knowledgeable in business, and capable of innovation”by restructuring the curriculum and establishing a“four-classroom”linkage mechanism. Practice has demonstrated that this model effectively enhances students'professional competencies and innovation/entrepreneurship literacy, offering valuable insights for the reform of minor language programs in local universities.
