Abstract: In February 2025, the release of DeepSeek attracted widespread attention in the global artificial intelligent field, the news and communication industry has also accelerated the pace of intelligent reform. From the perspective of news production, the popularization of generative artificial intelligence will promote the further development of human-machine collaborative production. In this context, it is crucial to accelerate the construction of a news writing talent training system that is adapted to the intelligent communication environment. This article attempts to explore the reform of news writing teaching from the aspects of teaching philosophy, teaching content, and teaching process, in response to the challenges brought by generative artificial intelligence to traditional news writing and the insufficient cultivation of news writing ability for media talents in Xinjiang universities.
