Construction of an Evaluation System for the Development of Translation Teaching Ability Based on AI Multimodal Technology

Abstract: In the context of the deep integration of artificial intelligence and multimodal technology in educational reform, this study focuses on the reconstruction of the evaluation system for the development of translation teaching ability. By integrating multimodal teaching theory, AI technology enabled educational evaluation methods, and the theoretical framework of translation ability models, this study constructs an evaluation system for the development of translation teaching ability based on AI multimodal technology. The system focuses on dynamic data collection, multimodal feature fusion, and intelligent analysis, achieving accurate evaluation of learners'translation abilities in all dimensions and processes. The research combined with empirical cases has verified the significant advantages of this system in improving evaluation objectivity, promoting personalized learning, and optimizing teaching decisions, providing theoretical support and practical paths for the digital transformation of translation education.
