Exploration of Teaching Reform of Advanced Operations Research Course from the Perspective of Smart Transportation

Abstract: With the rapid development of smart transportation, there is an increasing demand for professionals equipped with the operational research knowledge and the ability to solve practical problems in enterprises. This paper focuses on the current teaching situation of the advanced operations research course and explores the necessity and feasibility of its teaching reform in the context of smart transportation. By analyzing the existing problems in teaching, this paper proposes to carry out reforms in aspects such as optimizing teaching content, innovating teaching methods, improving the assessment system, and strengthening practical teaching, so as to enhance students'literacy in operations research and their ability to solve practical transportation problems, and to supply high-quality professionals for the smart transportation field.
