Research and Practice on the Construction of Virtual Teaching and Research Rooms for Design Majors under the Background of New Liberal Arts

Abstract: In the context of the new liberal arts, design related majors are facing multiple challenges such as teaching mode reform and lack of educational resources. This article aims to study and practice the construction of virtual teaching and research rooms in design related majors to improve teaching quality. This article elaborates on the development overview and theoretical basis of virtual teaching and research rooms, and points out the limitations of traditional teaching and research rooms in design related majors through current situation analysis. On this basis, the construction principles and strategies of virtual teaching and research rooms for design related majors are proposed, with the aim of building an efficient, flexible, and innovative virtual teaching and research platform to meet the diverse teaching needs of design related majors, promote the high-quality development of higher education, and cultivate more design talents with innovative abilities and practical skills for society.
