Abstract: In the context of the transformation of applied undergraduate education, this article proposes a curriculum reconstruction paradigm driven by the integration of competition and education to address the rigid mode dilemma of independent college statistics courses. Based on the theories of educational ecology and ability transfer, a targeted strategy for restructuring statistics courses is proposed: constructing a curriculum system that integrates“course competition certificate”, aligning competition needs and professional abilities, integrating competition cases and industry hotspots, implementing project driven and blended learning, has significantly improved the participation rate of students in competitions and the satisfaction of enterprises, providing independent colleges with a“lightweight, regionalized, and practical”curriculum reconstruction path, which has reference significance for the innovation of applied statistical talent training paradigms.
