Abstract: Under the guidance of the“double first class”construction, the internationalization of finance majors in applied undergraduate colleges in Jilin Province has become one of the important paths to improve teaching quality and cultivate financial talents that meet the needs of the times. This article first elaborates on the necessity of the international development of the finance major, and then outlines the development ideas from three directions: regional demand orientation and characteristic mismatch development, global competence as the core, and open collaboration mechanism and platform empowerment. Specific implementation paths are provided from the aspects of optimizing the curriculum system, strengthening the construction of the teaching staff, deepening the integration of industry and education, and expanding practical education channels, hoping to provide theoretical support and operational guidance for the international development of finance majors in applied undergraduate colleges in Jilin Province.
