Abstract: With the rapid development of technology and the increasing complexity of application scenarios, the surveying and mapping discipline is facing new challenges and opportunities. Based on a multidisciplinary background, this study systematically analyzes the existing problems in the current graduate training model of the surveying and mapping discipline, and proposes a series of reform strategies, such as“modular curricula”,“dual-supervisor systems”, and“industry-academia-research platforms”, to promote interdisciplinary integration and enhance graduate students’overall competence and innovative capabilities. Drawing on the practical experience of universities both domestically and internationally, this study puts forward specific measures for the reform and exploration of training models, aiming to provide scientific support and practical references for the reform of graduate education in the surveying and mapping field.
