Abstract: With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, traditional teaching methods are facing new challenges and opportunities. This paper uses the differential equations and complex variables course at Nankai University as an example to explore the reform of engineering mathematics course teaching systems, aiming to achieve a soft-hand balance and personalized teaching strategies. To meet modern educational needs, this paper introduces AI-based teaching tools and methods, combined with blended online and offline teaching, to improve course content and focus on integrating theory with practical application during the teaching process. This reform not only hopes to enhance students'understanding and application abilities of course content but also aims to strengthen their critical thinking and teamwork skills. Future research will continue to focus on optimizing teaching methods and adjustments, promoting application in a broader educational context to cultivate high-quality engineering and technical talent adapted to future work environments.
