Practical Exploration of Promoting Vocational Education through School Enterprise Cooperation under the Background of New Engineering Disciplines—Taking the College of Civil Engineering at Nanjing Tech University as an Example

Abstract: In response to the new requirements of engineering education reform under the background of new engineering construction, exploring school enterprise cooperation is a practical path to promote vocational education for college students. This article analyzes the current situation of vocational education for college students and summarizes the positive significance of school enterprise cooperation in improving practical skills and employment abilities of college students, collaborating on innovative talent cultivation models, and other aspects of vocational education for college students. Taking the School of Civil Engineering at Nanjing University of Technology as an example, through school enterprise cooperation, strengthening party building guidance, building educational bases, and creating educational brands, we aim to enhance college students' “ideological resilience”, “ability resilience”, and “knowledge resilience”, and promote the development of vocational education for college students.
