Strategies for Enhancing the Core Competencies of Vocational Teacher Education Students in Classroom Teaching—Taking the Use of the “TRE Teaching Model” in Educational Psychology Classrooms as an Example

Abstract: Educational psychology is an interdisciplinary field that combines psychological theory with educational teaching practice. It is a compulsory course for students majoring in vocational education and teacher training. The teaching requirement is to equip students with basic knowledge of psychology while also meeting the characteristics of vocational education and teacher training students. The purpose of this article is to study strategies for enhancing the core competencies of normal college students in psychology classroom teaching in higher vocational education. It can not only help students master psychological knowledge, but also cultivate their professional ethics, education skills, and abilities, truly realizing the cultivation of core competencies of higher vocational normal college students.
