Strategies for Cultivating Innovative and Entrepreneurial Qualities of College Students from the Perspective of Educational Soft Value

Abstract: Cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial qualities of college students is not only an important component of innovation and entrepreneurship education in higher education institutions, but also a manifestation of educational soft value. However, the current situation is that the innovation and entrepreneurship education in some colleges and universities focuses on teaching theoretical knowledge rather than after-school practical guidance, resulting in the lack of training opportunities for students to “learn by doing” and the failure to truly understand the value and essence of innovation and entrepreneurship, which makes it difficult to cultivate and develop students’innovative and entrepreneurial qualities. Based on it, by summarizing the relevant concepts, this paper analyzes the existing problems in cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial qualities of college students, and based on these problems, puts forward the strategies for cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial qualities of college students from three aspects: education objective, curriculum provision and teaching methods.
