Abstract: In order to improve the quality of environmental art design education, we must cultivate students' creative thinking, because the design of lack of creative thinking is without soul, creative thinking is the basis of environmental art design, the primary goal of cultivating environmental art design talents is to let students have creative thinking, thus it can be seen that in the process of environmental art design education, To a certain extent, it is important to cultivate students' creative thinking.
