Research on the Current Situation and Improvement Strategies of Higher Vocational English Service for Regional Economy

Abstract

Abstract: In the context of economic globalization, the relationship between regional economy and vocational English education is becoming increasingly close. Vocational English education is a form of higher education that serves the regional economy and connects with regional leading industries. It is the most direct and closely related part of English education and economic development, and has significant significance for regional economic development. Vocational English teaching must serve the development of regional economy, cultivate applied talents according to the requirements of job abilities for English talents, so as to better serve the regional economy and also promote their own development.
