Exploration and Practice on the Construction of First Class Chemical Engineering and Technology Majors in Local Universities

Abstract

Abstract: Local universities shoulder the significant mission of cultivating high-quality talents for the local area and providing technological and intellectual support for regional economic and social development. This article starts with the construction of first-class chemical engineering majors in local universities, analyzes the problems existing in the construction of local universities'majors, introduces the construction path and strategies of Guilin University of Technology's first-class chemical engineering majors, and briefly describes the beneficial exploration and practice in building an integrated talent cultivation model of industry, academia, and research, as well as the new system of“platform+module”talent cultivation, as well as the achievements of professional construction, to provide some reference for the construction of chemical engineering majors in local universities.
