Abstract: In the context of“double first-class”construction, engineering fluid dynamics is an important professional basic course for most engineering majors. The curriculum reform is of great significance for achieving the requirement of innovation in the construction of dual first-class disciplines. This paper first analyzed the current situation and existing problems of engineering fluid dynamics course teaching. Based on the characteristics of the course, this study suggested changing the traditional single teaching model and adopting two alternating teaching methods. On this basis, a multi factor comprehensive assessment method and compilation of new form teaching material was proposed. Under the premise of teacher led learning, students'enthusiasm for learning is maximized, thereby cultivating their innovative thinking ability and improving teaching effectiveness.
