Abstract: With the rapid development of information technology, the media pattern has undergone profound changes, and intelligent technology has changed the forms of news information collection, content production, distribution and promotion. The arrival of the era of intelligent media has brought many influences and challenges to journalists, who need more comprehensive media quality and comprehensive ability to adapt to the ever-changing media environment and market demand. Based on sorting out the current situation of the demand for local news talents, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the training of news talents in private universities in Guangxi, and explores the new thinking and new direction of the training of news talents in private universities in Guangxi in combination with the challenges brought by the era of intelligent media.
