Reform of Innovative Talent Training Model under the Background of Digital Technology

Abstract: In order to solve the problem that the current undergraduate training of remote sensing major can not meet the demand for innovative talents, this paper carries out the reform and practice of professional innovative talent training mode supported by digital technology for remote sensing science and technology major of Shandong University of Science and Technology. The specific solutions and approaches have been given. The new cultivation goals are“solid foundation, emphasis on practice, strong innovation, and high quality”. Optimizing the teaching staff and building a three-dimensional high-level teaching resource library have been carried out in the reform, the new teaching model of“online learning + flipped classroom + BOPPPS classroom + case study + practical case”was constructed. The practical teaching model of“experimental case + virtual simulation + engineering case”has been improved. Through the reform, the students'learning initiative, technological innovation ability, and critical thinking ability have been greatly improved. The practice shows that students'practical ability and consciousness of scientific and technological innovation have been significantly improved.
