Exploration on Teaching Reform of Pet Keeping Course——Taking Animal Science Major of Hunan Agricultural University as an Example

Abstract: The course pet keeping is a professional elective course in agricultural and forestry universities. It aims to use a variety of teaching methods and means to teach the relevant professional knowledge of pet keeping, help students correctly understand the relationship between pets and people and society, improve students'comprehensive quality, and achieve more ideal teaching results in limited classroom teaching. This is also the direction and focus of the reform of the course pet keeping in colleges and universities. The author, taking the course pet keeping of animal science major of Hunan Agricultural University as an example, discusses the teaching content, teaching methods, teaching concepts and the reform and reform conditions of the course assessment, in order to provide some reference for improving undergraduate teaching effectiveness.
