Research and Application of Model for Evaluating the Quality of College Students in the Construction of “Double First Class” Based on Factor Analysis

Abstract: A comprehensive and scientific evaluation of the quality of student resources is an important issue for universities to improve the quality of talent selection and training. Taking the actual enrollment data of the“double first class” construction university X as the research object, a student source quality evaluation model was established based on factor analysis method through multiple indicator screening and standardization processing, with score factor, difference factor, ranking factor, and voluntary factor as the main influencing factors. Empirical research was conducted, and the results showed that the model can objectively and effectively evaluate the quality of student sources in multiple dimensions, the construction of“double first class” universities has high application and promotion value in evaluating the quality of student sources, preparing enrollment plans, and formulating relevant policies.
