Practical Exploration on Improving the Quality and Efficiency of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program for College Students—The Investigation and Study Based on East China University of Science and Technology

Abstract: The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program for College Students (referred to as the“Da Chuang” Project) is an important carrier for improving college students'innovation and entrepreneurship abilities and cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial talents. By sorting out the organizational and management operations of East China University of Science and Technology since the implementation of the project, investigations and studies have found that there are problems such as relatively single project sources, lax process management, insufficient output of results, and insufficient promotion of the environment for innovation and entrepreneurship. Through the implementation of quality and efficiency improvement projects, expanding the source channels of“Da Chuang”project, strengthening the process management of“Da Chuang”projects, emphasizing the achievement orientation of“Da Chuang”project, and creating a characteristic brand innovation and entrepreneurship platform, the full matrix promotes interdisciplinary integration, improves quality through full process control, increases project output in all aspects, and fully enhances the impact of innovation and entrepreneurship. This can provide reference for other universities to improve the quality of“Da Chuang”project.
