Analysis and Countermeasures on the Cultivation of Innovative Ability for Graduate Students in Local Universities under the Background of “Double First-Class”

Abstract: The construction of“Double First-Class”has not only put forward requirements for the cultivation of graduate students'innovation abilities in central universities, but also brought pressure on local universities in this regard. Based on the connotation of innovation ability cultivation, this paper analyzes the problems existing in local universities, such as unclear training objectives, homogenized training processes, and weak responsibility of supervisors. It explores the top-level design of graduate student training objectives, builds a new collaborative education model, improves the control mechanisms of the innovation training process, establishes a diversified quality evaluation system for graduate students, and proposes corresponding strategies. Through practice, this paper has achieved good results in innovation. It provides reference for the cultivation of graduate students'innovation abilities in local universities under the background of“Double First-Class”construction.
