Abstract: In recent years, the “China College Students'Internet Plus Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition” and “Challenge Cup” have been booming, and deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education have become a consensus among many universities. The pressing issue for educators today is how to integrate “double-creation” elements into engineering courses and build a university curriculum system with the characteristics of the new era. Taking the course water pollution control and resource recovery in the resource recycling science and engineering major at Moutai Institute as an example, this article explores how to cultivate students'innovation, teamwork, and practical skills in the context of the new era through the implementation of teaching reforms and practice activities based on “double-creation” education. It forms a new teaching model that combines theory and practice, enhances the advanced, innovative, and challenging nature of professional courses, and steadily advances the core professional courses towards the “golden course” goal of “two-qualities and one-degree” standard. The related achievements have won multiple provincial-level awards, providing valuable references and inspiration for the reform of professional courses in related fields.
