Research on the Application of Task Driven Teaching Method to Train the Computational Thinking of Engineering College Students

Abstract: Computational thinking emphasizes the cultivation of students'problem-solving ideas, methods, and abilities. The cultivation of students'computational thinking is the foundation and core of programming courses and even computer science teaching. Task driven teaching is an open and interactive teaching method guided by constructivism, with tasks as the main thread, guided and promoted by teachers, and students analyzing and thinking to achieve knowledge acquisition and ability improvement. Based on a brief analysis of the educational content, evaluation standards, and task driven teaching process of computational thinking, this article designs a task driven teaching model based on computational thinking. Taking the definition and invocation of functions in programming courses as an example, this paper examines and analyzes the integration and teaching effectiveness of computational thinking education in task driven teaching mode.
