A Study on “Digital Intelligence” Transformation in Translation Education under the Background of New Liberal Arts

Abstract: The advancement of new liberal arts construction and the development of artificial intelligence technology have put forward new requirements for translation education in colleges and universities. The society is in urgent need of cultivating compound and innovative translation talents with excellent translation competence, humanistic and digital literacy, critical thinking and innovative spirit, etc. The transformation of “digital intelligence” provides a new pathway and model for innovative translation education. Based on the dilemmas in translation education, this paper explores the framework and specific pathways of “digital intelligence” transformation under the background of new liberal arts in terms of discipline integration, major construction, curriculum system, teaching reform, evaluation system and social services, so as to promote the “digital intelligence” transformation in translation education.
