Promotion Path of Undergraduate Academic Self-Efficacy under PBL Teaching Model

Abstract: The study selects 176 students from two groups, the experimental class (using the PBL teaching mode) and the control class (using the traditional teaching mode), to conduct a semester-long experiment on the reform of the teaching mode in the general education curriculum. The results of the experiment show that the PBL teaching mode is significantly better than the traditional teaching mode in improving students' academic self-efficacy. The results of this study provide new ideas for innovative general education teaching mode, and have important implications for enriching the application scenarios of PBL teaching mode and expanding the path to improving academic self-efficacy.
