Interdisciplinary Training and Enlightenment of Innovative Talents in Japanese Universities

Abstract: Innovation is the first driving force to lead development, and the cultivation of innovative talents is an important task of China's higher education. This article aims at the issue of interdisciplinary training mechanism for innovative talents in universities under the current background. Firstly, it discusses the importance of innovative talent education and interdisciplinary training, as well as the relationship between them. Furthermore, it comprehensively analyzes the main problems existing in the interdisciplinary cultivation of innovative talents in Chinese universities. Finally, based on the development characteristics and actual needs of China, this article introduces the relevant practices of Japan and their inspiration for improving the interdisciplinary training mechanism for innovative talents in China, providing decision-making reference for relevant educational practices.
