Teaching Exploration and Practice of Mathematical Physics Methods Course

Abstract: Mathematical physics method is an important professional basic course in physics, which is generally considered difficult to teach, learn and understand by teachers and students. How to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning and improve teaching effect is an important goal of curriculum reform. Combined with the actual teaching development status of this course, this paper proposes to introduce visualization and inquiry teaching into teaching, display complex formulas in the form of images, conduct inquiry on part of the chapter content, and complete the inquiry questions in groups. The practice shows that the teaching methods have been recognized by the students, and the learning enthusiasm and classroom participation have been improved, which is an effective methods to improve the teaching quality.
