Abstract: The studio of the department of furniture design major based on OBE concept is a useful carrier for innovative design works, as well as a benefit teaching format and a good complement to the traditional classes, the construction of the studio needs to clarify the goal of training, create a multi-level and multi-dimensional training platform, and build a training system in collaboration with industry and learning. The innovative studio follows the law of teaching is learning, people-oriented teaching organization, project-driven training method to promote learning by competition and evaluation mechanism with both rewards and punishments, which plays an important role in improving students' practical ability, innovative ability and professional quality. At the same time, the summary of the studio's practical experience can provide a certain reference for the future training of furniture design major professionals.
