Abstract: Innovation and entrepreneurship is an inexhaustible driving force for promoting social progress. The“Internet +”competition has accelerated the reform process of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities. Due to the subjective and objective factors such as limited industry, lack of resources and insufficient attention to the competition, colleges and universities in the coal industry have poor results in the competition. There are many problems in innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, such as the unsystematic curriculum system, the lack of educational resources, and the imperfect incubation platform. Through learning from the experience of innovation and entrepreneurship education in leading colleges and universities, this paper proposes to transform the scientific research achievements of advantageous disciplines into the key fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, take serving the national strategy as the core mission of innovation and entrepreneurship, establish a dynamic selection system for innovation and entrepreneurship talents, and establish a full-process guidance system for innovation and entrepreneurship projects, improve the new mechanism for cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial projects such as the talent training mode of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and help the reform and improvement of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
