Abstract: Innovation and entrepreneurship education is a teaching concept and model which is adapted to the needs of economic society and national development strategy. For promoting the scientific development of higher education, deepening the reform of education and teaching, and improving the quality of talent cultivation, it is of great practical significance and long-term strategic significance to promote innovation and entrepreneurship education and explore new modes of cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial talents in higher education institutions. The pioneer class of Northeastern University began in 2012. It is a new model for the development of top-notch entrepreneurial talents primarily for undergraduates. And this model aims to cultivate entrepreneurship and innovative and entrepreneurial talents. After 8 years of development, it has become a relatively successful entrepreneurial education model.
