Abstract: With the development of social economy and the progress of science and technology, especially the rise of "Internet +" and big data and artificial intelligence, statistics has become an indispensable powerful tool for people to understand the objective world. At present, artificial intelligence has become a hot social issue, but it also brings new challenges and opportunities to all levels of education. Artificial intelligence is closely related to statistics and achieves each other. Therefore, how to reform and explore the construction of Statistics Specialty in the perspective of artificial intelligence, in order to meet the needs of society and the development of the times, is a problem worth thinking about. It is necessary for Statistics Specialty to keep pace with the development of the times and carry out effective reform aiming at cultivating compound statistics talents with artificial intelligence knowledge background.
