Teaching Design of Identification of Traditional Chinese Medicine Using BOPPPS Teaching Mode——Taking Scutellaria Baicalensis as an Example

Abstract: Identification of Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is an applied discipline that studies and appraises the varieties and quality of TCM, sets up the quality standard of TCM, and seeks and expands new drug sources. BOPPPS teaching mode is a method to organize the teaching process, which can effectively design and teach a lesson and improve learners' participation. Taking Astragalus membranaceus as an example, this paper discusses the teaching design method of TCM identification using BOPPPS teaching mode from six teaching stages of introduction, objective, pre-test, participatory learning, post-test and summary according to BOPPPS. The results showed that BOPPPS method was used to design the course of TCM identification, and the teaching effect was better and worthy of promotion.
