Abstract: New engineering construction is a very complex and systematic education project, which needs to formulate a strict talent training system according to the current social employment structure, and create the quality guarantee mechanism of talent training around the needs of standardized talent construction. Application-oriented undergraduate universities should give full play to their own influence and promoting role on regional economy, combine the development characteristics of local economy, strengthen the transformation of traditional engineering and new engineering, formulate higher-quality talent training system, innovate talent training mode, and effectively promote the all-round development of application-oriented undergraduate universities. So that the training of applied undergraduate talents can effectively promote the improvement of talent training quality in colleges and universities, and then promote the development and innovation of China's economic system.
