Abstract: With the development of China's economy, the Ministry of education pays more and more attention to education. In the new era, according to the requirements of the new curriculum reform, higher vocational colleges and universities should design teaching programs, optimize English teaching programs, and pay attention to the cultivation of students' ability, which is an effective way to improve the quality of teaching. English teachers should do a good job in this aspect of teaching work, and formulate a student-centered teaching system. It finds the shortcomings of traditional teaching, introduces "Internet +" to carry out English teaching, consolidates students' English foundation, trains students' pragmatic ability, and analyzes how to introduce "Internet +" to carry out English Teaching in higher vocational colleges, so as to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability.
