Application of Situational Cognitive Learning Theory in College English Teaching

Abstract: English is a highly applied language. In the process of college English teaching, teachers need to actively optimize teaching methods, formulate reasonable teaching plans, and promote students' English learning ability. In the process of college English teaching practice, applying situational cognitive learning theory to English teaching can guide students to maintain good communication with teachers in the process of learning, and promote the improvement of learning effect. Therefore, this paper analyzes and discusses the application of situational cognitive learning theory in college English teaching, and puts forward the implementation strategies and application suggestions of situational cognitive theory in college English teaching.
