A Study of the College English Multimodal Teaching Based on OBE-CDIO Concept

Abstract: With the features of systematicness and operability, CDIO modal remedies the defect of “more focus on theory than on practice”of traditional teaching. With outcome orientation, OBE-CDIO college English multimodal teaching combines the practical modal of engineering education with multimodality under the outcome-focused principle, which cultivates the language practical ability, humanistic quality, innovation, critical thinking, collaboration and multi-literacies,to optimize the effect of College English teaching.
