Abstract: Based on the questionnaire survey data of 317 college students in Jiangsu province, this paper empirically investigated the current situation and influencing factors of college students' social entrepreneurial competency. The results show that college students’s social entrepreneurial competency needs to be improved, especially the social personality urgently needs to be strengthened. The gender and professional differences of college students' social entrepreneurial competency are not significant. The social entrepreneurial competency of first-year college students is significantly lower than that of other senior college students. The impact of different scholarship experience, internship experience and charity activity experience on college students' social entrepreneurial competency has no statistical significance. However, entrepreneurship education and role models have significantly positive impact on college students' social entrepreneurial competency.
