Abstract: The most important part of higher vocational education in China, the education level has always been the focus of the society, higher vocational counselor professionalization and specialization of research and education concentrate on tasks, higher vocational counselor because of the complexity of the work object, the diversity of the way to work, and so on and so forth are required higher vocational counselors to develop in the direction of specialization. Case analysis is a basic work in the daily work of counselors in higher vocational colleges. It can comprehensively examine the professional ability and professional quality of counselors, and it is also a required examination item of the National Counselor Quality and Competence Competition. Accurate grasp of the nature of the problems and key points of case analysis has a strong guidance for the daily work of vocational counselors. This paper focuses on the problems existing in case analysis competitions of vocational college counselors and coping strategies, which is conducive to the enhancement of professional level of vocational college counselors in case analysis work, and better realization of ideological and political education and value guidance for college students.
