Nurses' Perceived Professional Benefits and Influencing Factors in the 2+2 Teaching Model

Abstract: Objective To investigate the status quo of nurses' perceived professional benefit in the 2+2 teaching model and analyze its influencing factors. Methods A total of 100 nurses who participate in the 2+2 teaching model from a tertiary general hospital were selected by cluster sampling. General information survey questionnaire and nurse occupation benefit questionnaire were used for survey. t test and variance analysis were used for data analysis. Results The total score of nurses' occupational benefit was (131.90±12.61) points, and the average score for items was (4.54±0.43) points. The highest score in each dimension was the nurse-patient relationship with a score rate of 92.93%, and the lowest score was recognized by relatives and friends, with a score rate of 87.94%. There were statistically significant differences of the professional benefit score of nurses with different educational backgrounds, professional titles and positions(F=4.289, 3.295, t=2.240, P<0.05). Conclusion The perceived professional benefit of nurses participating in 2+2 teaching model from a tertiary general hospital is above the average level, and educational background, professional title, and position are the influencing factors.
