Abstract: The practical teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges in the new era is an extremely important teaching link, way and way to guide and organize students to carry out social practice, to introduce deep and perfect the teaching of ideological and political courses, to improve its teaching effect and to realize its teaching purpose. The practical teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities and the classroom theoretical teaching, as different links and ways of the complete same teaching process, are different from each other, but also closely related to each other. The characteristics of practical teaching activities lie in the reality of contents, flexibility of time and space, autonomy of activities, diversity of forms and objectivity of processes.
