Abstract: This paper aims at promoting the connotation development of professional degree graduate education in local colleges, analyzes the existing problems and shortcomings in the training process of professional degree graduate education in local colleges and universities, and gives some corresponding suggestions. In order to cultivate high quality applied talents as the goal, around the quality of teaching and learning quality, the practice development of quality three levels, to create suitable for the cultivation of professional degree graduate student system, put forward to establish professional practice courses, deepen the cooperation between colleges, optimization of teachers, improve the training quality evaluation and so on a series of reform measures, to improve the graduate student's practical ability and application ability, it is of great importance to make professional degree graduates adapt to the actual work needs of specific industries and occupations and promote their potential career development in the future.
