Exploration of Encouragement Methods and Evaluation Mechanism for College Students to Participate in Online Teaching——Taking Mathematical Economics Teaching as an Example

Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid development of information technology and the encouragement and support of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, colleges and universities have actively explored and carried out online teaching practices in order to continuously strengthen the construction of informatization teaching. The reforms on education focusing on integrating information technology have been actively performed and are continuing to advance in colleges and universities across China. However, in the absence of real-time supervision and management, whether the participation of students in online teaching can be guaranteed, and whether the evaluation mechanism that can effectively reflect students' participation in online learning can be designed, is related to the implementation effect and teaching quality of online teaching. Based on the online teaching experience of economic mathematics, this paper explores how to mobilize students to participate in online teaching and how to make a fair evaluation of students' participation, so as to provide a reference for the deep integration of information technology and education and teaching, and to improve the quality of online teaching.
