The Application of Hybrid Learning based on SPOC in the Spoken English Teaching of Applied Universities

Abstract: In the current college English teaching activities, students are required to establish a complete knowledge system and have the comprehensive ability to use English flexibly. In recent years, in the assessment of students' comprehensive ability to use English, more attention has been paid to students' knowledge application ability, requiring students to be able to communicate with others in English. According to the college English teaching plan, most students can get the opportunity of oral communication, but some students lack the initiative and enthusiasm to communicate. Therefore, it is necessary to explore new classroom teaching mode. This paper proposes a hybrid teaching mode based on SPOC for oral English teaching, in order to effectively improve students' oral English level.
