Abstract: University counselors have the dual identities of teachers and managers. For a long time, it is difficult to accept their identity as teachers. Because, as a teacher, should have the following four aspects, professional spirit, professional philosophy, professional knowledge and professional ability. Professional spirit is the most important part of the connotation construction of university counselors' specialization. This paper attempts to explore the practice path of professional spirit casting of university counselors from the teacher’s perspective by focusing on theoretical basis, environmental basis and professional basis three aspects.
