Abstract: As an outstanding group of the young generation, college student cadres bear the important responsibility of national development and social progress. The importance of the training and management of college student cadres is self-evident. In order to fully train university student cadres and tap the internal needs, universities need to analyze the characteristics of the university student population, integrate the current situation and shortcomings of the training management systems of university student cadres, optimize and adjust the training management system, so as to ensure the pertinence and effectiveness of training management. In this paper, from five aspects: improving the selection the selection standard of university student cadres, setting an example and setting up characteristic posts, using new media to strengthen ideological and political education, two-way management mode, establishing a perfect supervision mechanism of assessment platform, building a new management system of university student cadres training.
