Abstract: The simulated United Nations activities make students closely connected with the situation of the United Nations and play an extremely important role in the quality education of Chinese students today. With the universal talent cultivation concept of “international vision”, “international competitiveness”, and based on the six classification levels of educational objectives proposed by American educational psychologist Benjamin Bloom, this innovative teaching reform attempts to construct a three-dimensional complementary model of “1+1+1” classroom teaching and MUN society activities with our own characteristic which consists of three parts, MUN theory and practice teaching in classroom, extra-curricular practices assessment activities and MUN society members’ participation in MUN conferences. And the specific contents of the model are: optimizing the curriculum and integrating the basic theoretical concepts of the United Nations and various practical tasks of the Model United Nations Conference into the classroom; carrying out extra-curricular training programs within the MUN society; making full use of the off-campus MUN conferences at all levels and encouraging students to actively participate in the inter-university MUN conferences; cultivating innovative talents of MUN by actively holding the inter-school conferences on campus.
